The Buzz Boutique (on sale & limited sizing) LC scalloped suede skirt // J. Crew Chambray Top // Lace-up Flatts // Plaid Blanket Scarf

Happy Hump Day!

The weekend is so close I can taste it! I’m looking extra forward to this Friday because it is fall break for us. That is right, I’ll be home until Tuesday! *insert praise hand emoji* I could not be more ready if I tried! I have absolutely nothing planned at all besides working Friday and Saturday night.. Because ya girl needs some money tbh. So hopefully that means I will get major blogging done the rest of the break. I feel like everytime I say that it doesn’t happen…. But I’ll try

Anyways, onto today’s look! It is starting to get a little cooler down here in Georgia, by that I mean the high is in the mid 80. So I can FINALLY start wearing some of my fall clothes.

This suede skirt was a favorite of mine last year and I am so happy it is still in this year. Skirts are such a great transition into fall and winter because they have a fall feel but aren’t too heavy and make you hot. This is such a great staple to have in your closet because there are so many different ways to style it so it works for fall and winter.

I’ve always been a fan of chambray shirts, I bought this J. Crew one probably 3 or 4 years ago and I have so gotten my money’s  worth out of it. That is one of the many things I love about places like J. Crew, even though their clothing might be a little more they have such classic looks that it stays in style for years! In my opinion, when you buy something you are going to use over and over again it is better to pay the higher price and get a high quality item.

Lace up flats were a trend last fall and I loved it but I never bit the bullet and bought them… But a couple of weeks ago while at Target (shocker) I found these beauts on clearance! It would have been wrong for me to not get them (do you see why I need to work this weekend?!) I love that they have a chambray/denim look, it makes them different but at the same time trendy. They actually pair well with a lot.

To tie this whole look together I got my favorite classic blanket scarf. It really just tied all of the colors together to make a cohesive look.

Sorry this post was a little longer than my usual, I just had a lot to say about each piece! I hope ya’ll have a great day!

XOXO

I love those flats! Everyone seems to have a pair like them now, but yours are so unique since they’re denim! Enjoy the rest of your fall break!
