Happy Monday babes!

Sorry I was MIA last week on all forms social media. I ended up getting a viral sinus infection and was basically out for the week. I was so unproductive, I didn’t do any blogging… or homework (I kinda got behind, but it is fine!). So needless to say I have a lot of catching up to do this week!

Incase you were unaware I am in love the Crown and Ivy line at Belk… like seriously! They have so many different items to choose from and they are such classy, southern and fun pieces. And work well for all ages, my mom and grandmother own a lot in Crown and ivy (but they have great style!).

I wouldn’t say that C&I is pricey, but it is a little more than some of the brands you’ll find at Belk. But the good news is that  they are always on sale, and Belk has a lot of sales.

So after going on and on about C&I, that is where this adorable navy skirt is from! Finally got to the point, I know. Sometimes dressing nicer in the winter can be hard, I’ll just get too cold!! But this corduroy skirt is to die for!!

It is so soft and thick, so perfect for dressing up in the winter.  If it is still warmer, like it has been here, then a light top and heels are all you need. But once it starts getting cooler I it’d be so easy to warm it up with sweater or maybe even a cardigan, or even boots or stockings and heels for a dressier event! I always am looking for things that I can make work during transitional seasons and the cold weather.

These are still my fave heels ever!! I love the taupe color, it goes with so much and a perfect transition color.

This week will be filled with a ton of schoolwork and projects (and hopefully staying on top of blogging!!)

Have a great Monday babes!

You are so frickin cute! I love this outfit on you :). Simple and chic is always a winner. And your hair is to-die-for! I have natural curls but haven’t figured out how to wear it curly. Give me your secrets!!!

Awwww thank you so much Emily! <3 I have thought about doing a hair tutorial. But I only brush it with my fingers in the shower and put mousse right when I get out. I let it air dry for a bit (long enough to do my makeup) and dry it with a diffuser! I hope that helps haha! XOXO

What a nice outfit! That skirt is so nice and your ideas for colder weather are great. It’s the perfect skirt for the fall, actually.
