Season of Stripes

Dress // Francesca’s necklaces // Similar Wedges

Happy Monday!

Wow friends this week has been crazy! Last week was finals week… then if you follow me on Instagram and saw my story you know whats been happening this weekend! So my sweet momma was awarded the teacher of the year for her school, on Thursday night the school district held a gala honoring all of the teacher of the year nominees for each school. It was such a lovely event!! My sweet grandmother and aunt were able to come down and celebrate with us and attend the gala! I’ll be posting a blog post of my outfit from that night and a couple of pictures from the event!

On Saturday my oldest cousin graduated from college! I can’t believe it. So of course the whole fam jam was there to celebrate with her. We attended the graduation and ate lunch at Barnsley Gardens. So it is safe to say that it was a great celebratory weekend!

If you’ve been keeping up with my blog then you know I LOVE Francescas! They have the absolute cutest pieces and every time I go in there the workers are so sweet and helpful. I have been in boutiques before when the people working just aren’t the friendliest. There is one local place I recently have decided to not return to due to the fact that they are frankly not friendly. Anyway, that isn’t the point of this post so I’m moving on.

I love navy, I really do! This dress is on sale and is just so pretty and feminine. The vertical stripes and high neck line are so flattering!

One of the girls who was working the day I went in added this adorable necklace in my dressing room to try on with one of the outfits and I fell in love! It is the perfect long necklace to go with anything! I already love the jewelry at Francesca’s, I feel like my fave pieces are always from there! You really need to hit it up when it is BOGO jewelry!

These shoes are from a couple of years ago from Target. I absolutely love them! They are the perfect casual summer wedges.

This post is a little more life updating more than the outfit, but I am also taking a Maymester this year. I really wish I didn’t have to but I have to have one class which is a prerequisite for all my other major classes. I am taking that one on campus and I also decided to take an online Spanish class during May too. So I will be in Milledgeville till June then go back home.

But I hope y’all have an amazing day.. Wish me luck with my first day of my maymester today!

XOXO,
